I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to the family. Take comfort in the words in 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 that says, in part, "the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort " will indeed help you to cope with your grievous loss. Through the death of His own son, He has already taken steps to permanently remove all pain and suffering including death. Use this time of grief to investigate the wonderful hope that the Bible offers of being reunited with our loved ones again right here on a cleansed earth in peace and perfection.

I just learned of your loved one's death. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I am deeply concerned about the sorrow and distress your families must be experiencing. However, I have some comforting news to share with you regarding your loss. Did you know that the Bible promises us that one day, very soon, we will not have to go through such times as this? As Isaiah 25:8, the prophet foretold "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken it". But until that time, the wonderful promise of a resurrection is held out to all who have fallen asleep in death (Acts 24:15). I hope these few lines have brought you some comfort at this time.
