Malcom De’Witt Cook was born January 2, 1941 to Katie Mae Smith and James Elliott Cook, in Oxford, MS.
He confessed and accepted Christ at an early age, at Lockhart Church of Oxford, MS.
Malcom enjoyed family and friends, telling his jokes, kidding around and simply enjoyed life to the fullest; never met a stranger.
He was born the second child of five children, James E. Cook, Thomas Marion Cook, and both parents preceded him in death.
Early Sunday morning, July 2nd, Malcom heard and answered the call of the master to that mansion in the sky.
Malcom leaves to cherish his memory, one Sister, Ocie Mae Cook of Abbeville, MS; one Brother, Robert (Lutisha) Cook of South Bend, IN; one Sister-in-law, Lura Cook of Oxford, MS; three nieces, Niyoka Cook of Carme, IN, Abigail Bennig and Rhonda Cook, both of Oxford, MS; four nephews; Sylvester ‘Tiny’ Cook and Robert Cook, Jr. both of South Bend, IN, Andrew Cook of Memphis, TN and David Cook of Atlanta, GA; five great nephews, Ke’Sean, Kristan, Kyland, Richard Jr., and Ke’Shawn; one great-great niece, Rose and a host of other relatives and friends with his Oxford Health and Rehab Family for 21 years.
