Mr. Christopher William Hill

BYHALIA- Mr. Christopher William Hill, 27, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He was born June 1, 1990 in Memphis, TN to William B. Hill and Helen D. Rayford. Chris confessed hope in Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Eason Grove M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Charles Jones, Jr. He later joined St. Matthew M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Patrick Stewart. Chris graduated from Byhalia High School where he played football and baseball. He also played football for two years at Northeast MS Community college in Booneville, MS. He was employed by Ryder working as a WMS Coordinator at McCormick Spices in Barton, MS. He worked hard and had begun to work his way up the ladder to Supervisor.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11a.m. at St. Matthews M.B. Church in Byhalia, MS with Pastor Gregory Hughes delivering the eulogy. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

Chris leaves to cherish his memories two daughters: Miya N. Hill of Oxford, MS and Cali A. Milam of Byhalia, MS, his father: William B. Hill and mother, Helen D. Rayford both of Byhalia, MS, one brother: Marcus D. Hill of Byhalia, MS, three sisters: Falon Humphries (Justin) of Mobile, AL, Crystal N. Rayford of Jackson, TN and Tori E. Anderson (Derrick)  of Memphia, TN, grandmother: Mamie Hill of Byhalia, MS, cousin and best friend: Derrick (Trell) Payne, two nieces, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Chris is greatly loved and will be missed by family and many friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 5-7p.m. at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs.
