Wyneder Moore

Ms. Wyneder Moore, 59, transitioned on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Methodist Hospital, Olive Branch, MS.

Ms. Wyneder Moore was born in Marshall County, MS, on September 16, 1963, to Tommie Moore, Jr. and Naioma D. Rubin.  She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Pleasant Hill CME Church in Mt. Pleasant, MS.  Wyneder was a graduate of Sand Flat High School in Mt. Pleasant, MS and attended Coahoma Community College.  She enjoyed dancing, singing, being outdoors, and she was the life of the party.

She leaves to cherish her memories: mother: Naioma D. Rubin of Mt. Pleasant, MS; one son: William Henley, III of Mt. Pleasant, MS; one daughter: Angela Henley of Memphis, TN; four brothers: James Dortch of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Tony Lane of Horn Lake, MS, Jerry Lane of Memphis, TN, and Billy Lane of KY; seven sisters: Verneda Griffin of Rossville, TN, Josephine Moore of Benton County, MS, Gloria Rayford (Marvin) of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Shelia Moore and Essie Houston both of Olive Branch, MS, Elsie Avant (William) and Dorothy Rubin both of Memphis, TN,; two grandchildren: Antrawn Taylor, Jr. and Skylar Henley; god brother Miaron “Big Daddy” Jackson, god sister Cassandra Howell and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father: Tommie Moore, Jr. and stepfather Jessie Ivy Rubin; grandfathers: Tommie Moore, Sr., and Alex Dortch, grandmothers: Earline Moore and Lillie Mae Dortch, and one brother: Jessie Snow.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS

Services will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Pleasant Hill CME Church, 4244 Highway 72, Holly Springs, MS.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
