Mr. Willie Lee Craig, 67, transitioned on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at his residence, in Byhalia, MS.
Mr. Willie Lee Craig was born December 25, 1955, in Moscow, TN, to the late James Edward Craig and Mary Green Craig.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Sims Chapel M.B. Church in Michigan City, MS
He was honored and respected throughout the community in which he loved.
He retired from Byhalia Lawn Service; he loved to play his guitar, hanging out with his family, fishing, and he was a jokester.
God called another one of his faithful servants home on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Barbara Ann Craig of Hickory Flat, MS; one son: Josh Craig of Memphis, TN; two daughters: Sharuanda Spencer (Danny) of Michigan City, MS, and Jennifer Craig of Hickory Flat, MS; two brothers: James Craig (Earlene) of Michigan City, MS, and Joseph Craig (Ashley) of Lamar, MS; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Craig and Mary Green Craig; four brothers, Charley Jackson, Frank Bolden, David Lee Craig, and Charles Edward Craig, two sisters, Mattie Lou Craig and Jessie Mae Craig.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 2:30 p.m., at Sims Chapel M.B. Church, 293 Sims Chapel Road, Michigan City, MS 38647.
Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
