William Charles Worship

Mr. William Charles Worship, 73, transitioned on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his residence in New Albany. 

William Worship was born on October 8, 1947 to Sammy Lee and Mattie Clemmer. On February 10, 2021, he left this earthly world and entered into eternal life.

William was a long time employee of Porter Furniture store. He loved his family. He also loved to play cards, and sit around and drink coffee with friends.

William leaves to cherish his memories his daughter; Stephanie Howell and son Mark Foster, a god-daughter; ShaTounia Dixon, one sister; Mary Hill, special friends; Shirley Crayton, Teresa Bailey, Aunzie Keys, and Hugh Pratt, special nephews; William (Jeannie) Worship and Charlie (Tip) Worship, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers; Robert, J.P., David, Joe Bob, Henry, and two sisters; Sarah and Effie (Sue).

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 12 Noon at Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home Chapel in New Albany. Burial will take place at Adkins Chapel Church Cemetery in Blue Mountain, MS. Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 10a.m., until 11:50a.m., at the funeral home.
