William Michael “Mike” Campbell was born November 17, 1954, in Benton County, MS to the late William Tate and Lutisha Campbell Tate. He professed Christ at an early age and joined Sand Hill M.B. Church in Lamar, MS. Mike referred to himself as "Dr. Campbell"
He departed his life on Wednesday October 29, 2025, at Alliance Healthcare System in Holly Springs, MS.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories one son: Clifton (Jerrica) Campbell of Ripley, MS; one daughter: Toya Nunnally of Holly Springs, MS; four sisters: Doris Evans of Holly Springs, MS, Erma (Milton) Parker of Olive Branch, MS, Janice Lawrence of Olive Branch, MS, Betty (Ricky) Thomas of Michigan City, MS; one brother: Barnett (Tawanda) Campbell of Ashland, MS, four grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Lutisha Campbell Tate; two brothers: Jerry Tate and S.L. Tate; two sisters: Julie Campbell and Marie Craine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 N. Memphis Street, Holly Springs, MS 38635.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., at New Dimension Salt & Light Ministries, 565 Neely Ave., Holly Springs, MS 38635.
Burial will follow at Sand Hill M.B. Church Cemetery, Lamar, MS.
