Sis Warrentina Hamilton was born on November 27, 1954 to the late Willie C. Cook and Ella Mae Shumpert Cook, Chicago, IL.
On Saturday. June 15, 2024, she transitioned at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS.
Warrentina accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Hamilton Chapel M.B. Church in Tupelo, MS. She was employed as a security guard for several years. She was a Minister who loved to talk about the Word of God. She was a great encourager, who constantly spread positivity. Warrentina was a prayer warrior and was loved by everyone she met
Warrentina leaves to cherish her memories: husband: John T. Hamilton, Sr. of Tupelo, MS; one son: Pastor John T. Hamilton, Jr. (April) of Pontotoc, MS; six daughters: Tawanna Wiggins of Tupelo, MS, Lakeshia Foxx (Pastor Tracy) of Plantersville, MS. Queent Diallo of Shannon, MS, Sharon Hamilton-Martin (Keith) of Warren, MI, Santanna Ragin (Ro) of Tupelo, MS, and Tina Hamilton of Pontotoc, MS; two brothers: Willie F. Cook of Chicago, IL, and Martiece Cook (Traneka) of Kansas; one sister: Patricia Walker (Lee) of Chicago, IL; twenty two grandchildren: twenty six great grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Warrentina was preceded in death by her loving parents: Willie C. Cook and Ella Mae Shumpert Cook; one son: Tyree Davis; one grandson: Joshua Metcalf.
Viewing will be at 2:30 p.m., and Service at 3:30 p.m., on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Hamilton Chapel M.B. Church, 177 Topp Lane, Tupelo, MS 38801.
Burial will take place at Union Grove U.M. Church, 30055 Union Grove Road, Nettleton, MS 38858
