Wade Ealey, Jr.

Mr. Wade Ealey, Jr., 81, transitioned on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Methodist Germantown Hospital, Germantown, TN.

Mr. Wade Ealey Jr. was born in Victoria, MS,  on November 18, 1940, to the late Wade Ealey Sr. and Ophelia Malone Ealey.  He was the second of their ten children.  Wade departed this life peacefully on April 26, 2022, at Methodist Hospital, Germantown, TN.

He attended school in Byhalia, MS.  As a young adult he lived and worked in New York and Florida.  While in Florida he met and married Margie Smith.  To this union one son was born, Suban Ealey.  He returned home to the Victoria area where he lived and worked until his death. He was employed by IG Design Group in Byhalia, MS at the time of his passing.

Wade is survived by his wife Margie Ealey and their son Suban (Mary) Ealey both of Waverly, FL, and Wade’s son Branden Lee Krannechfeld of Grand Junction, TN; two brothers: Dorn Ealey of Red Banks, MS,  and Larry Ealey of Byhalia, MS; four sisters: Velma Ealey, Marvia Kilgore, Loretta Rhodes (David) all of Byhalia, MS,  and Margaret Thompson of Red Banks, MS; five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 13, 2022, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Holly Springs, MS.

Service will be on Saturday, May 14, 2022, 11:00 a.m., Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Holly Springs, MS.

Burial will take place a New Chapel C.M.E. Church Cemetery, 3082 Moore Road,  Red Banks, MS.
