Tyrone Steven Williams, 49, of Oxford, MS, transitioned on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oxford, MS.
Mr. Tyrone Steven Williams was born August 22, 1975, in Oakland, Mississippi to the late Jessie and Emma Louise Williams. He was the youngest of six boys. Tyrone departed his earthly life on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oxford, Mississippi.
He was united in holy matrimony to Jacqueline Shaw Williams. He was blessed with two daughters: Qyneshia Shaw, LaPorchia Hervey and four grandchildren.
Tyrone professed hope in Christ at Carr’s Chapel C.M.E. Church in Oakland, MS. He received his formal education in the Coffeeville School District, Class of 1994. During his Senior year, Tyrone decided to complete his education at the Mississippi Job Corp Center in Crystal Springs, MS. He was a hard knock fan of the Ole Miss Rebels. Tyrone was known for his unique smile and his generosity to all that knew him.
Tyrone’s precious memories will be cherished by his wife: Jacqueline Williams of Oxford, MS; two daughters: Qyneshia Shaw of Houston, MS and LaPorchia Hervey of Oxford, MS; four grandchildren he adored the most: Abrielle Rudd, Paisleigh Hervey, Khylie Ivy and Kaison Hervey; four brothers: Frank Williams, Jerry Williams and Terry (Rose) Williams all of Oakland, MS, and Melvin (Peggy) Williams of Atlanta, GA; sister and brothers in-law: Cutrina (Eric) Daniels of Nashville, TN, Charles (Theresa) Shaw of Michigan and Jeffery Shaw of Taylor, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Tyrone was preceded in death by his parents: Jessie and Emma Louise Williams, brother: Jessie, Jr; in-laws: William Shaw and Annie Lois Shaw; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held onr Friday, November 22, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at South Hopewell M.B. Church, 11 Highway 328, Oxford, MS 38655
Services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at Second Baptist M.B. Church, 611 Jackson Avenue East, Oxford, MS 38655
Burial will take place at Browning Cemetery, 21 County Road 3016, Oxford, MS 38655
