Trever Wayne Joyner

Trever Wayne Joyner, 55, transitioned on Friday, March 28, 2023, at his residence, in Hickory Flat, MS.

Trever Wayne Joyner was born January 5, 1968, to William Ansel Joyner, III and the late Peggy Carpenter Joyner in Memphis, TN.  

He attended West Union School and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, cutting grass, and farming. He was a veteran, that served in the army and national guard..   

He leaves to cherish his loving memories; father: William Ansel Joyner, III of Hickory Flat, MS; loving wife of thirty two years: Alice Joyner of Waterford, MS; two sons: Trever Wayne Joyner “TJ” (Ashley)  of Waterford, MS, and Cody Wayne Joyner (Rachel) of Hickory Flat, MS; three brothers: Theodore Joyner “Teddy” (Abby), Tracy Joyner, and Brian Joyner (Andrea) all of Hickory Flat, MS; two sisters: Brandy Courson (Brian) of Hickory Flat, MS, and Lori Beth Siddall (Derrick) of New Albany, MS; five grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Peggy Carpenter Joyner

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.,  at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 North Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635.

Service will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 North Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635.

Burial will take place at Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery,  2247 Laws Hill Road, Laws Hill, MS 38635.
