Mr. Tommie Lee Foster, 64, transitioned on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at UAB in Birmingham, AL.

TOMMIE LEE FOSTER was born July 24, 1956 in Pontotoc, MS to the late Tommie George Foster and Lou Ethel Foster. His soul and spirit ascended into the presence of the Lord on February 4, 2021

TOMMIE joined Usher Valley United Methodist Church, Pontotoc, MS. He graduated from South Pontotoc High School in 1974,  shortly after graduating he left Pontotoc county for  Grand  Rapids, MI,  where  he learned many different trades, whether he was fixing cars, building furniture, or building a house, his passion was helping anyone in need.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Lou Ethel Foster;  five daughters: Latasha Mitchel, Latonya Foster, Charity Foster, Tamika Foster, and Davin Curtis all of Grand Rapids, MI; four sons: Teashawn Suggs, Tommie Latham, Tamaine Foster and Darius Mockerman all of Grand Rapids, MI; three sisters:  Ethel (Havard) Hobson, Susie Burns both of Pontotoc, MS, Donna (Shelby) Pannell of Tupelo, MS;  two brothers:  Lin (Arlene) Walker, Ricky Foster both of Grand Rapids, MI; 38 grandchildren,11 great-grandchildren, one uncle.  Allen Walker, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 10a.m., until 11a.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc. Burial will follow after the viewing at Pontotoc City Cemetery. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
