Timothy Earl Colyer, 58, transitioned June 10, 2025 in New Albany, MS. He was born September 20, 1966 in Ripley, MS to Flossie Mae Bradock and Dennis Cornelius.
He was employed before becoming disabled. Timothy was a member of Agape Ministries of Tupelo, MS. He was a man of many trades; fixing vehicles, detailing cars, preaching and teaching, and a musician playing the lead guitar and the bass.
To cherish his memories he leaves his wife; Deliah Denise Colyer of New Albany, MS, children; Carl Richardson, Nicole Colyer and Patricia Colyer all of St. Louis, MO, Alexis Braxton of Corinth, MS, Karen Thomas, Aubrey Miller (Marcus) both of Tupelo, MS and Elias Colyer of New Albany, MS, grandchildren; Malycia Braxton, Lawrence Gray, Giovanna Eskesen, Laundin Miller, Carl Richardson, Jr., Stephon Braxton, Tarajie Miller, Zyon Miller and Princess Swygeart, one great-grandchild; Zaveah Hutcheson, brothers; Rev. Arlanders (Jimmie) Colyer of Tupelo, MS, Lee (Denise) Colyer of St. Louis, MO and Philip (Belinda) Colyer of Ripley, MS, sisters; Edora Colyer of Ripley, MS and Lettie Colyer of St. Louis, MO, his former wife and the mother of his children; Nita Richardson Colyer, one special sister; Viera (LaShawn) Braxton, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Timothy is joined in eternity by his parents Dennis Cornelius and Flossie Mae Bradock, his son; Marshuan Braxton, brothers; Lonnie Colyer and Charles Colyer, sisters; Marget Christon and Princess Colyer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 722 Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS 38652.
Services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, 1:00 p.m., at Union Grove United Methodist Church, 500 County Road 549, Ripley, MS 38663.
Burial will take place at White Oak Community Cemetery, Ripley, MS.
