Terry L. Stubbs

Mr. Terry L. Stubbs, 67, transitioned on Monday, December 30, 2024, at North MS Medical Center, Tupelo, MS

Terry L. Stubbs was born November 2, 1957 in New Albany, Mississippi to the late Henry and Dorothy Stubbs. At an early age, Terry found a love for music, often playing his records on the weekends. For several years Terry worked at Mohasco Manufacturing until his physical health began to decline.

Terry deeply believed in family and God in his heart. Terry departed this life Monday, December 30, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

He leaves to cherish his memories three children; Ernestine L. Stubbs, Staron Jones (Rachel) and Isaac Stubbs (Ernestine B. Stubbs), four grandchildren; Janayla, Marley, Ethan and Ashia Oliver, four sisters; Shirley Cullens (Charlie Frank), Dorothy Garner and Vivian Stubbs all of New Albany, MS, Willene Patterson of Tupelo, MS, two brothers; Larry Stubbs and Norris Stubbs of Tupelo, MS, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. 

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brother; Amos Stubbs.

A great son, loving father, wonderful Papa and True Friend

You never looked for praises, you were never one to boast. You just went on quietly working for the ones you loved the most. 

Your dreams were seldom spoken, your wants were very few. And most of the time your worries went unspoken too. 

You were there...a firm foundation through all our storms of life. A sturdy hand to hold on to, in times and stress and strife. 

A true friend I could turn to when times were good or bad. 

One of my greatest blessings, the man that I called Dad.

Services will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 12:00 Noon, at Serenity Funeral Home, 722, Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS  

Burial will take place at Beaver Dam M.B. Church, New Albany, MS  38652
