Ms. Sherrye Thomas, 58, of Waterford, MS, transitioned on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oxford, MS

Sherrye Lee Thomas, was born on April 21, 1965 to the late Odell Thomas, Sr. and Eula Gordon Thomas, in MS.   On Thursday, January 25, 2024, she transitioned at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS.

She was a graduate of Potts Camp High School and furthered her education at Ole Miss and University of Phoenix earning her master’s degree. She loved gardening and being around her grandchild Bryce Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters: Jaime Thomas of Jackson, MS and Alexis Thomas of Waterford, MS; four brothers: Odell Thomas and Donald Thomas both of Waterford, MS, Patrick Thomas of Pontotoc, MS, and Danny Thomas of Oxford, MS; one sister: Merylin Hill of Memphis, TN; one grandson Bryce Thomas of Waterford, MS; and a host of  uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Sherrye was preceded in death by her loving parents: Odell Thomas, Sr. and Eula Gordon Thomas; and one sister: Lorraine Thomas.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service, 11:00 a.m.  until 1:00 p.m.,  Friday, February 2, 2024,at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 North Memphis Street, Holly Springs, MS 38635.

Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m.,  Friday, February 2, 2024, at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 North Memphis Street, Holly Springs, MS 38635.
