Sharon Hodge

The world became a brighter place on April 9, 1958, when Sharon Ann Harrison Hodge was born. She brought joy and happiness to many while taking pride in being the best daughter, sister, friend, mother, and wife she could be. Sharon faced many obstacles in her lifetime and is best known for being resilient, honest, and loyal. Sharon enjoyed caretaking, utilizing her innate compassion and love for others. In the little bit of free time, she took for herself, she enjoyed painting, gardening, and all the simple pleasures of life.

God decided it was time for Sharon to return home on October 13, 2024. As her children, we take comfort in knowing she is back in the arms of our beloved Daddy. Her life was (and is) a blessing from God.

Surviving is her stepfather Robert Feathers, sister Sheila King (Carlos), sister- in-laws, Shirley and Pat, brother Ralph Harrison, brother Kenneth Harrison, three children (and their respective spouses and children) Amanda Inmon (Jamey: Kolten, Kristen, KiLeigh, Chandler, Madison, and Chace) of Thaxton, MS, Jennifer Russell (Danna, Brayden, Megan, and Mattie) of Pontotoc, MS, Thomas “Rivers” Hodge (Haley: Finley, Crew, Benjamin “Banks”, and Salem) of New Hill, NC, six great-grandchildren, and many additional  nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 25 years, Jerry Lee Hodge, 2nd husband William (Bill) Burger, brother Ronald Harrison, father, Grady Harrison, Mother Ethel Feathers, and stepfather Joseph Appleton.
