Sandra Holpe Obituary

Ms. Sandra Faye Holpe, 60, transitioned on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. 

To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under the heaven.”  A time to be born…. December 19, 1960 and a time to rest…. April 22, 2021.

Sandra was the ninth child to the late Thurmond Beaird and Annie Bea Beaird who both proceeded her in death.

Sandra (Faye) Holpe life story contained many chapters.  Faye was employed with Potts Camp Quick Stop until February 2020.

Sandra attended and graduated from Holly Springs High School in 1979.  She later went to Northwest Community College where she received her Cosmetology Degree.

Sandra accepted Christ at an early age and later became a member of Mount Pleasant Church of Christ under the leadership of Minister Gary Young.

Sandra spent most of her life in Holly Springs, MS.  Later she moved to Hickory Flat, MS.  During this chapter of her life, Sandra enjoyed traveling to visit her kids and grandkids.  She filled her days with love and laugher for her family and friends.  The family and friends that stopped by her house or called her could count on Sandra for a joke or saying something to bring everyone a smile, laugh, and encouragement.  Sandra was known for caring ways and being a comedian.

 

Sandra leaves to cherish her memories a husband, Tony Holpe; two loving and devoted daughters, Latonza Beaird and Kanesha McFadden of Florissant, MO; two sons, Thurmondus Beaird (Janetta) of Holly Springs, MS, and Tony Beaird (Tatiana) of Los Angeles, CA;  two sisters, Arby Shipp and Darlene (Earnest) Garris of Holly Springs, MS; seven brothers, Lee Russell Richmond of Memphis, TN, Virgis (Mae) Richmond of Eudora, MS, Thomas (Dessa) Beaird of Olive Branch, MS, Douglas (Linda) Beaird of Coldwater, MS, Tracy (Linda) Beaird of Pensacola, FL, Joseph (Willie) Lesure and Victor Beaird both of Holly Springs, MS; one aunt, Linda Brown of Holly Springs, MS; one uncle; Charles Williams; two silbings that preceded her in death; Bishop and Gloria Beaird; her most prized possessions, her grandchildren, Jamaraquai, Jalen, Jimmy, Preston., Cherish, Cierra, Cyandria, Tony, Jacaine, Bhealey, Bettyanna, NaSheay, Jimmy, and Jahnessha; one great-grandchild, Ja’Kiva; Three sisters-in-law; Cherrice Jamison, and Priscila Holpe- Jones both of Olive Branch, MS and Janette (Daniel) Hamilton of Florissant, MO; a brother-in-law; Terry Holpe of Memphis, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 11a.m., at Cottrell Memorial Gardens in Holly Springs. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 3-5p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.
