Sammie Lee "Log" Grayson

On February 19, 2021, Sammie was called home by his heavenly  father at his residence in  Peoria, IL.  He was baptized at Bethlehem Church at an early age. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Dorothy Grayson, five sisters, Glendora (Rufus) Paden, Josephine (Morris) Anderson, Dorothy Jean (Lynn) Peterson, Brenda Grayson (Steve), and Janice Rahman, two brothers, James Grayson Jr.,  Jimmy Grayson, a special nephew Jeremiah Nelson, a host of nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, James Grayson, two nephews, Dedrick Grayson and Christopher Grayson and a niece, Yatica Grayson

Visitation will be on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 4-6p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs. Burial will take place at Baptist Hill Church Cemetery in Potts Camp, MS. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
