Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Jackson

Ruth Elizabeth Jackson, 93, transitioned on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Methodist LeBoneur Hospital, Germantown, TN.

Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Jackson was born August 7, 1930, to the late Thomas Dodge Moss and Jeanie Ruth McGovern Moss in Memphis, TN. On Thursday, October 19, 2023, she transitioned to her church home in Heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She  attended Collierville Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Ruth was a Pianist, who loved Classical music; she was a teacher who received her master’s degree from the University of Arkansas, where she taught special needs at Rison Baptist Church in Arkansas; She was also a Real Estate Agent for Crye-Leike Realtor.  She loved her family, and she had a servant’s heart, that she  would give to anyone.

Mrs. Ruth leaves to cherish her memories, two loving sons: Joseph Allen (Dorothy) Jackson of Collierville, TN, Robert Edward (Karen) Jackson of Little Rock, AR; two daughters: Elizabeth R. (David) Myhand of Hot Springs, AR, Cynthia Lou (Barry) Brown of Memphis, TN; nine grandchildren,  nine great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her Husband,  Dr. William E. Jackson.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Hillcrest Cemetery, 380 S. Maury St , Holly Springs, MS 38635.

Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, 380 S. Maury St., Holly Springs, MS 38635.
