Mrs. Rosie Mae Warren Jeffries, 71, of Byhalia, MS, transitioned on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in Holly Springs, MS

On January 11, 1953, in Byhalia, MS, the late Roosevelt and Adrina Warren was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, and they named her Rosie Mae.

Rosie accepted Jesus Church as her Savior at an early age and united with the Union Valley M.B. Church, where she remained a faithful member. She served as President of the Usher Board. She was a member of the Women of Faith, a Community Volunteer, Home Care Provider. And she loved to knit, read, cook, and host family events.

Rosie was educated in the Marshall County School System.

In 1968, she united in Holy Matrimony to Curtis Jeffries, and they were Bless to celebrate 55 years together. They were blessed with a son and daughter.

On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in Marshall County, Rosie departed from her earthly home to enter the gates of her Heavenly Home. 2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Rosie will forever be cherished by her children: Patrick Warren (Bonnie), Racy Jones, Tanya Louis (Bryon), Adrianna Warren and Ferlando Warren (LaShaunda). Her brothers: Valander Martin (Odessa) of Battle Creek, Michigan, Nathaniel Warren of Southaven, MS, Donald Warren (Paticia) and Rickey Warren of Holly Springs, MS. Her sisters: Brenda Warren of Southaven, MS and Tina Dortch (Kirt) of Holly Springs, MS. Five brothers-in-law: James E. Milan, M.C. Howell, James Howell Lanell Howell and Marcus Howell. Five sisters-in-law: Vickie Moore-Warren, Corleen Howell Jones, Betty Howell Reed, Julie Howell Brown (Rev. Kenneth) and Maggie Pearl Howell Jackson. One Aunt Magnolia Ross. Grandchildren: Shavanna Jeffries, Brittany Warren, Keianna Jeffries, Curterius Jeffries, Delandrus Warren, Tyretha Warren, JaKeivis Warren, Kemondre Warren, Brevin Warren, Brianna Warren, Coryana Bogard, Braylon Warren, Corriah Bogard, Brycen Warren, Corrielle Bogard, Great Grandchildren: Mar’Kerion Pegues, Mar’Kavis Jeffries, Isiah Warren, Isaac, Warren, Serenity Williams, Maddison Stewart, Elias Warren, Xay Warren, Omae Warren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her sister, Retha Lee Warren and brothers, James, Danny, and Edward J. Warren. One sister-in-law, Erma Warren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Union Valley M.B. Church, 1264 Union Valley M,B, Church, Byhalia, MS  38611/

Services will be held on Saturday, May June 1, 2024, 3:00 p.m., at New Mt, Gillian M.B. Church, 774 Union Valley Road, Byhalia, MS  38611

Burial will take place a Street Hill Primitive Baptist Church, Holly Springs, MS  38635
