Robert L. Wilkins "Lewis" 68, transitioned on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at his residence.
Robert “Louis” Wilkins (67) was born December 4, 1958 to the late Bobby Wilkins and Dorothy Sims in Marshall County, MS.Upon the age of confession, Louis united with the Yarbrough Chapel C.M.E. Church under the Leadership of Rev. Q. H. Whitlock.
Louis attended and graduated from Holly Springs High School in 1978. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served for 4 years.
Louis departed his earthly home to enter eternal rest on January 25, 2026, at his home shared with his fiancé and caretaker, Lular Turnage.
He will forever be remembered and loved by his children, Tavares Hankins and Trameka Lesure, both of Holly Springs, MS and Octavis (Tamekia) Lesure of Hattiesburg, MS; seven grandchildren, Tavion, Tatiana, Tamar, TráNya, TaKeria, Octavis Jr. and Xavier; three sisters, JoAllen (Herman) Hale of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Brenda (Clevion) Falkner of Red Banks, MS and Sharon Braddock of Holly Springs, MS; his uncle Eugene Sims of Holly Springs, MS; his aunt, Segretta Sims of Holly Springs, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents Bobby Wilkins and Dorothy Sims; three brothers, T.C. Wilkins, Karry Wilkins and Thomas Wilkins; two sisters, Sandra Wilkins and Debra Braddock; and grandson Tyren Hankins.
Services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635.
Body will lie in state one hour prior to service time.
Burial will take place at Yarbrough Chapel C.M.E. Church Cemetery, Holly Springs, MS.
