Robert Earl McKinney

Mr. Robert “Earl” McKinney was born October 13, 1939 to the late Dallas Marion and John H. McKinney.   Robert “Earl” departed this life on Saturday, April 11, 2020 in Oxford, MS at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age at Hudsonville C.M.E. Church.  Robert worked as a construction worker.

Robert “Earl” McKinney leaves to cherish his wonderful memories, his wife: Bonnie McKinney of Chicago, IL, children: Karen McKinney, Cynthia McKinney, Katrina McKinney of Chicago, IL, Rosemary Presley, Teresa Griffin, E. Mary Bogard, Joe Louis, sisters:  Asie Scales of Chicago, IL, Earnestine  Marion, Geraldine Glover, Rosetta Lumpkin, and Korene Marion all of Holly Springs, MS, brothers:  Clifford (Patricia) Marion of Holly Springs, MS, Henry McKinney of Chicago, IL, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dallas Marion, father, John H. McKinney, daughter, Robbie McKinney, siblings, Hubert Lee Marion, Jacqueline Marion and Cecil Marion.

Due to the outbreak of the Corona (COVID-19) Virus. The visitation and graveside service will be private just for the immediate family members. This is a guideline of the CDC and the State Board of Health. We do ask that those at risk or those not feeling well to please stay at home. You can reach out to the family via our website.
