Robert Lee Isom, Sr.,  "Stick", 70, transitioned on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Robert Lee Isom Sr. “Stick” was born December 13, 1955, in Hudsonville, Mississippi to the late Rev. Lester and Flora Lee Wright Isom. He transitioned on December 28, 2025, at Diversicare of Batesville Nursing Home in Batesville, Mississippi. 

He confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of Hopewell #2 Missionary Baptist Church and later joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Oxford, MS where he was a faithful member until his health failed. He is a 1976 graduate of Sandflat High School, and he furthered his education at Mississippi Industrial College. He worked at Carrier Corporation in Collierville, Tennessee. Robert loved to cut grass, watch his favorite TV shows, listen to his favorite songs, take pictures, and be the life of the party. He always had a smile on his face and will be greatly missed. 

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Lester and Flora Lee Isom, and a son Robert Lee Isom Jr.; siblings: Lester B. Isom, Roy Lee Isom, Randy Isom, Hattie Bell Isom, Mae Dell Howell, Ricky Isom, Jessie Isom, and Frank Isom. 

Survivors include his significant other Gloria Wilkins, four sons Larry Kimmons, Jairus Leasure of Holly Springs, MS, Shawn Isom of Atlanta, GA, and Robert Christopher Wilkins (Kim) of Jackson, MS; two daughters, Esparonda Waller (Douglas) of Birmingham, AL and Storm Isom of Holly Springs, MS. Surviving siblings include: three sisters, Evelean Richard, Bessie Isom of Holly Springs, MS, Mae Lee Mason of Memphis, TN and one brother, James Isom (Elizabeth) of Holly Springs, MS; thirteen grandchildren: Lealanda Ingram, LeeKelcy Kimmons, Jariah Leasure, JaKyriah Leasure, Macadas Mason, Brandon Isom, Joshua Isom, Makayla and NaKyra Isom, Denetria L. Waller, Emmanuel L. Waller, Sariah E. Waller, and Keenen Andrew Powers Wilkins; two great grandchildren Nova and Mason McGauyhey; and a host of  nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS.

Body will lie in state one hour before service time.

Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, 300 S. Market St., Holly Springs, MS  38635.
