Regina Graham Thornton, 55, transitioned on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

Regina Daphine Graham Thornton, 55, departed this life Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Regina was affectionately known as "Gina." She was born to Eva Graham and Charlie Gambrel in New Albany, Mississippi, October 11, 1970. 

She was a cherished mom to her kids, and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, co-workers and her beloved dogs. In her past times she loved singing, dancing, holidays, laughing, making others laugh and just enjoying life.

Regina was married to Vincient Thornton and from this union two children were born.  

To celebrate and cherish her life she leaves her children: Armar Thornton and Kyra Thornton, her mother Eva Graham, five siblings; Henry Graham, Paricia Spight, Anita Elliott (Terry), Anthony Graham, Katonya Graham, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a life-long special friend; Norman Robinson, her co-workers and forever friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; Charlie Gamble and her sister; Debra Spight. 

Visitation will be held on  Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 722, Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS  38652.

Body will lie in state one hour prior to service time.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., at Palestine M.B. Church, 690 County Road 830, Blue Mountain, MS  38610.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
