Mrs. Queen Wesley, 96, transitioned on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Yalobusha Nursing Home, Water Valley, MS.
Queen Easter Wesley resided in Water Valley, MS. She was born May 26, 1926 to the late Albert and Lillie Brazelle. On June 28, 2022, she exchanged mortality for immortality at the Yalobusha General Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. She was a Cook at the Yalobusha Country Club for many years until retirement.
Queen Wesley united with Sanders Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Mitchell Steen, where she was a member until her passing.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving daughter: Louise Matthews (Lawrence) of Coffeeville, MS, four granddaughters: Barbara Wesley of Coffeeville, MS, Nacole Davidson of Olive Branch, MS, Jackie (Kleveland) Glover of Oxford, MS, Aquila (Justin) Johnson of High Point, NC, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand son.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-great grandson: Master Darrius Keon Davidson and two sisters.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2022, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by Service at 11:00 a.m., at Greater Sanders Chapel Church, 206 CR 220, Water Valley, MS.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
