Phyllis Gail Culver Mohead “Babe” was born on September 21, 1974, to Clyde Culver and Phyllis June Alexander Culver, in Oxford, MS.   On Saturday, May 18, 2024, she transitioned at St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, IN.

Phyllis enjoyed cooking, being around her family, and generally loved and cared about everyone she encountered.  She was a jokester and loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Phyllis leaves to cherish her memories: her parents: Clyde Culver (Faye) and Phyllis June Culver both of Waterford, MS; husband: Robert Mohead of East Chicago, IN; one son: Cameron Walter Bing of Waterford, MS; one daughter: Samatha Farrow (Drew) of Waterford, MS; two brothers: Terry Culver (Lisa) and Steve Culver (Tammy) both of Waterford, MS; one stepbrother: Eric Yeager (Cheryl) of Waterford, MS; five grandchildren: Kaitlyn Farrow, and Ava Farrow both of Waterford, MS, JackLynn June Bing, and Levi Walter Bing both of Mt. Pleasant, MS, and Asher Wayne Bing of Bethlehem, MS; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 1715 Bethlehem Rd , Waterford, MS 38685.

Burial will take place at Culver Cemetery, Waterford, MS 38685.
