Paula K. Oliver Snow

Mrs. Paula K. Oliver Snow, 61, transitioned on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Baptist Desoto Hospital, Southaven, MS.

I was born August 24, 1962, to Wesley B. Oliver, Sr and Bernice Hardaway Oliver as the tenth child. I received Christ at an early age and attended Strawberry Missionary Baptist Church.

I attended Northwest Community College. I later became a Home Certified Nursing Assistant. I also completed 4 years of Discipleship with Anderson Chapel C.M.E. Church.

I married the love of my life on May 25, 1985, Mr. Wille E. Snow, Sr. We have four exceptional children, all I could ever dream of in my lifetime.

I leave to cherish my memories, my husband of 38 years, Wille E. Snow, Sr. Two sons, Jarvis Q. Oliver (Jessica) of Olive Branch, MS and Willie E. Snow, Jr (Christian) of Virginia Beach, VA; Two daughters, Deiadra Oliver-Buffington (Germaine)of Holly Springs, MS and Whitney Ford (Ronnie)of Horn Lake, MS; I have a special granddaughter that I raised as a daughter, Da’Mya S. Snow of Holly Springs, MS.

My siblings that spoiled me: Wesley B. Oliver Jr. (Dorothy) of Cordova, TN, Susie A Smith (Lee Russell) of Victoria, MS, Laverne Whitelow (Rudy) of Holly Springs, Jorina Pritchard of Chicago, IL, Thelma J. Snow (Willie) of Holly Springs, MS, Stanley Oliver Sr. (Margaret) of Chicago,IL and Sharon Oliver of Franklin, TN; Sister-in-laws Laverne G. Oliver and Teresa I. Oliver; a special friend and sister, Joan Lester; five sister-in laws, four brother-in laws, four aunts, five uncles and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.

My grandchildren, Da’Mya, Jeremiah, Jariyah, Jaylen, Jarvis, Jr, Ronjiah, Jearon, Da’Kira, Londyn, Quamari, Willie III, Mark, Jessalyn, Zoe, Alena, Jamaal, Taurus and Jade. I will always Love you.

My parents, Wesley B. Oliver Sr and Bernice Hardaway Oliver preceded me in death. My father in-law Elijah Snow and mother in-law, Lizzie Campbell Snow proceeded me in death as well. Also, my siblings that have gone before me: Stella Oliver-Wright (Willie), Curtis Oliver, Elvern Oliver and Mario A. Oliver.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis Street, Holly Springs, MS  38635.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at Strawberry M.B. Church, 2602 Highway 311 North, Holly Springs, MS  38635.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
