Ms. Patricia Ellouise Freeman, 82, transitioned on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, New Albany, MS

Patricia "Pat" Eloise Edwards Freeman was born January 30, 1941, to Leroy and Madgie Edwards. She, at the will of God, transitioned on March 26, 2023.

Pat was united in holy matrimony to Willie Hayes Freeman on January 31, 1959. To this union, seven children were born. She was a very devoted wife and mother.

She enjoyed spending quality time with all her children. Of course, her face lit up when her children surprised her with a visit. She was well known to many for her delicious meals including her delectable desserts. She especially enjoyed cooking and laughing with family and friends. In her leisure, she enjoyed watching country westerns and her favorite soap operas. Spending leisure time with her sisters was a special treat.

Her favorite worship song was "Can't Nobody Do Me Like Jesus." In her last days, she was seen professing her faith in God, and continuously giving God much praise.

Pat leaves to cherish her memory her children, Bryan of Racine, WI, Jerry (Sharon) of Harlingen, TX, Bobby (Laurie) of Burbank, CA, Jeff (Pam) of Racine, WI, Sean (Raquel) of Houston, TX, Sandi (Greg) McGaughy and Wendy (Olaniyi Adebayo) both of New Albany, MS Mourice Freeman of Savannah, GA, Julian (Jamie) Mitchell of Hickory Flat, MS, honorary sons: Tim Turner (Maria) of Olive Branch, MS and Cliff Mullins (Barbara) of Baldwyn, MS, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, six sisters; Carolyn (Johnnie) Latham, Catherine (Mose) Knox, Jannie Lowe, Dorothy Graham, Hazel (Wade) Ivy, and Connie (Anthony) Anderson, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her daughter, Brenda Williams, honorary son, Raymond Brown, sister, Flossie Joy, brothers; Earl, Leo, Hugh and Ovell Edwards.

Memorial Service will be Friday, March 31,2023, at 3:00 p m., at Holy Temple Church of God, 1107 Moss Hill Drive, New Albany, MS 38652
