Mrs. Mary Jane Keys Ball

Mrs. Mary Jane Keys Ball, 73, transitioned on Monday, March 20, 2023, at her residence in Tupelo, MS

Mary Jane Keys was the only child born to Jamie Graham and Quincy Keys on December 13, 1949 in New Albany, Union County, MS. Mary Jane graduated from B.F. Ford High School and obtained her Registered Nursing degree from Northeast Community College. After many years working as an RN, Mary retired into a quiet life in Verona, MS where she spent time with her family.

Mary Jane left this world after battling a lengthy illness March 20, 2023.

She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters; Celeste Pegues of Verona, MS and Marcia (Eddie) Ewing of Hayward, CA; three grandchildren; Latasha Pegues, Chelsea Ewing, and De'Andre Ewing. three great grandchildren; Kimora Pegues, Madison Ewing and Ace Pegues, one special aunt; Nora Estes, many cousins and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father: Quincy Keys, mother, Jamie Taylor, son, Craig Keys and husband Terry Ball.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 248 Highway 15 South, Pontotoc, MS.

Burial will take place at Pontotoc City Cemetery, Pontotoc, MS.
