Mrs. Lurin A Campbell

Mrs. Lurin A. Campbell, 61, transitioned Thursday, April 21, 2022, Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oxford, MS.

Lurin Ann Campbell was born in Water Valley, MS on March 3, 1961 to the late Gertrude "Doll" Owens and Billie Rockett. She departed this life, April 21, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. 
She worked at StaHome Health for 18 years. She was a graduate of Water Valley High School class of 1979. She was united in marriage to  James B. Campbell in 1987. 
Lurin leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband: James B. Campbell, son; Jeremiah Campbell,  grandsons; Jermaroul and Tyquirus Campbell, step-children:Trenisha Bounds, Ketra Coleman, Aurdra Morgan, Tamera Shaw, Marrio Morgan,  sisters and  brothers: Linda Sayles of Water Valley, MS, Lisa Owens of WV, Betty Rupert, WV, Billie Carylon Hill of Oxford, MS, Mildred Owens of Jackson, MS, and, Frank Owens, Clay Owens of WV, John Rockett of Racine, WI, Billie Frank Rockett of Davenport, IA, special nephew: Tracy Cooper and Terry Rockett of WV,  special uncle; David Rockett and  aunts; Ms. Annie Bell Owens of WV and Margarett Johnson of Oxford, MS, a special friend; Chance and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Lurin was preceded in death by her parents: Gertrude Owens and Billie Rockett, son; Jeromorce Campbell in 2000, brother, Milton Owens and Billy Joe Owens, one sister. Linda Owens.

So many things of you we'll miss, your gentle hug and tender kiss.
We still can feel your warm embrace and picture yet of your loving face.
A mother's tasks are never done and Heaven must've needed one.
For angels came and took her hand and led her to God's promised land.
Although there's sadness, this we know, she's waiting there,

Visitation will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, 10:00 a.m., Martin Street Church of Christ, 521 Martin Street, Water Valley, MS.

Service will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., Martin Street Church of Christ, 521 Martin Street, Water Valley, MS.

Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Water Valley, MS.
