Mrs. Earnestine Snow

Mrs. Earnestine Snow, 66, transitioned on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at her residence in Lamar, MS.

Earnestine D. Snow was born on May 2, 1956 to the late Major Campbell of Chicago, IL and Queen E. Dortch of Memphis, TN.

She spent most of her years alongside her cousins with her grandparents George and Mary Penilton.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Stephanie) Snow of Columbia, SC, LaTonya (Marcus) Dorsey of Harlem, GA, Cedric Snow of Lamar, MS, Elijah Martell Hampton of Memphis, TN; one brother, Alvin (Ophelia) Dortch of Bartlett, TN; one sister, Mamie (Bobby)Moore of Victoria, MS. and other siblings Leo (Sharon) Harris and Earl (Janet) Dortch.

She was a loving grandmother to 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Snow two sons, Lee Anthony Snow and Derrick Marcell Snow; her parents and grandparents.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 14, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635

Services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Kimbrough Chapel Church, 1182  Kimbrough Chapel Rd., Lamar, MS 38642

Burial will take place at Hudsonville C.M.E., 778 S. Slayden Road,  Lamar, MS 38642.
