Mr. Albert Lee Moody "Boss Dogg", 61, transitioned on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at his residence in Oxford, MS.

Albert Lee Moody was born 26th day of February 1962, to Betty Webster Moody and the late Sylvester Moody. He was the 6th of thirteen children, born in Tunica County, Mississippi. He was a resident of Oxford, Mississippi.

Albert accepted Christ at an early age. Affectionately known as “Boss Dogg”, his smile would light up the room when he entered. He attended Coldwater High School in Coldwater MS. Albert enjoyed dancing and being with family and friends. His favorite Quote: “Boss Dogg the mean one, better known as Nothing Nice”

On April 13, 2023, Albert Lee Moody departed this life for life eternal with the Father.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother Betty Moody Jones, of Oxford, MS, his children; Johnathan Kirkwood, and Quartisha (Dquarius) Henry, god-daughter, Regina Simmons all of Oxford, 6 grandchildren, his Siblings: Ruby Lee Moody of Chicago, IL, Mary K. Walton (George) of Olive Branch, MS, Bobbie Jean Moody of Memphis, TN, Dennis Moody of Water Valley, MS, Sherry Moody of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Isaiah (Tonya) Moody of Oxford, MS, Eddie (Trina) Moody of Oxford, MS, Betty (Scott) Gilliom of Oxford, MS, Marilyn Moody of Tupelo, MS, Patricia (Kerry) of Arlington, TX, his special companion and Caretaker, Sheila Brooks of Oxford, Ms, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Sylvester Moody, step-father, Roy Jones, brothers Sylvester Moody Jr, and Clifton (Classy) Moody.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Service will be Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.,  at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 294 Highway 7 North, Oxford, MS 38655.

Burial will take place a Harrisonville M.B. Church, CR 164, Oxford, MS  38655.
