Minnie Grant

Mrs. Minnie Grant, 83, transitioned on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Amita Health Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL. 

Minnie Grant born April 14th, 1937 in Water Valley Mississippi, to her parents Wilma Harris and Elijah Harris. She later moved to Chicago Illinois where she married her late husband Willis Grant. She attended a Baptist church under Pastor Jeffrey – A believer in Christ. She was a private duty nurse for many years 

Minnie loved to shop and hang out at the casino. She took pride in going to Church. She always made sure she looked goodwhen she stepped out the house. She loved her family and tried to make sure that she kept in contact with everyone. She was the glue to the family.

Minnie leaves to cherish her 3 living children Fatima Anderson, Willie Harris Sr, Anthony Joesph Grant and also her daughter in Law Mary Drummonds-Harris. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and relatives. 

She was proceeded in death by her sisters Ruby Matthews, Gladys Rivers, Aliest Allen and Annie Mae Harris. She was also proceeded in death by her sons James Wallace Wheeler Jr, Richard Harris and grandson Joshua Anderson.
