Mike Junior Kadarius Ogden "KD", 15, transitioned on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
On November 11, 2008, in Tupelo, MS a baby boy was born to Mike “Spanky” Ogden and Tilda Denise Lusk. This handsome boy was named Mike Junior Kadarius Ogden, also known as “KD".
He attended Nettleton Junior High School, where he played football. He loved to play basketball, basketball, rap, dance, and walk up and down the road with his friends. KD also loved to go joyriding with his Uncle Neal. He had the most infectious smile that could light up any room.
KD leaves to cherish his loving memories: father: Mike Ogden of Tupelo, MS; mother: Tilda Lusk of Tupelo, MS; grandmother: Katherine Petty of Okolona, MS; three brothers: Ramon Ogden, Rayshon Ogden, and DeAnthony Ogden all of Tupelo, MS, three sisters: Dominique Holliday, Arionna Ogden, and Ciara Ogden all of Tupelo, MS; a very special cousin Shequila Washington of Nettleton, MS; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
KD was preceded in death by his grandparents: M.C. Ewen, Janie Ogden, and Jimmy Wardlow; one brother: Michael Ogden; and two sisters: Koriana Ogden and Kerianna Ogden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 248 Highway 15 South, Pontotoc, MS 38863
Services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, 2:30 p.m., at Living Word & Praise Sanctuary, 4738 Roebuck Road, Tupelo, MS 38801
Burial will take place at Pontotoc City Cemetery, Pontotoc, MS
