Michelle Evette Williams, 55, transitioned on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at her residence in Ashland, MS

Michelle Evette Williams was born on May 18, 1969, to Lizzie Cole Williams and the late John L. Williams in Norristown, PA.   On Sunday, June 9, 2024, she transitioned at her residence in Ashland, MS.

Michelle accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Shiloh M.B. Church in Ashland, MS. She was an outgoing individual who enjoyed watching television, especially basketball.  She attended Norristown High School. 

Michelle was a devoted mother to her late son, Jason Williams.

Michelle leaves to cherish her memories: mother: Lizzie Williams of Ashland, MS; one sister: Mordeannia Williams of Ashland, MS; aunt: Marie Williams of Norristown, PA; nephew: Edmond Hill of Norristown, PA; niece: Kiana Hill of Norristown, PA; three grandchildren: Jamayious Hudson, Zamaria Holland, and Lajasion Scruggs; special friend: Elson Hoyle; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Michelle was preceded in death by her loving father: John L. Williams; son Jason Williams; sister: Jacqueline Williams.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635

Services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., at  Shiloh Baptist Church, 120 Shiloh Road, Ashland, MS  38603

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
