Michael Jefferson, 59, of Red Banks, MS, transitioned on Monday, September 23, 2024

Michael Jefferson was born on October 23, 1964, to the late Andrew Jefferson and Mary Thomas in Memphis, TN.  On Monday, September 23, 2024, he transitioned in Red Banks, MS.

Michael accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Newell M.B. Church in Red Banks, MS. He was self-employed in construction for several years.  Michael enjoyed washing cars and playing basketball.

Michael leaves to cherish his loving memories: mother: Bertha Jefferson of Red Banks, MS; five brothers: James Jefferson (Toni), Johnny Cross (Brenda), and Donald Edwards all of Memphis, TN, Harry Crutcher (Delgin) of Lamar, MS, and Walter Jefferson of Red Banks, MS; five sisters: Jane Stinson (Wayne), and Lucy Sharp (David) both of Byhalia, MS, Mary McCray (Marvin) of Memphis, TN, Angela Hardaway, and Priscilla Crutcher both of Red Banks, MS; three uncles: Robert Crutcher of Memphis, TN, Mack Arthur Crutcher of Collierville, TN, and Ondoff Thompson of TN; one aunt: Perole Rockett of Byhalia, MS; and a host of  nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his loving parents: Andrew Jefferson and Mary Thomas; one brother: Andrew Jefferson, Jr.; two sisters: Lovie Jefferson and Terry Halloway.

Visitation will be held  on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.,  at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 North Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635
