Michael Lee Bostick, 62, of Ashland, MS, transitioned on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at his residence.
Michael Lee Bostick was born on September 30, 1962, to the late Rufus and Lena Bostick in Michigan City, MS. Michael peacefully departed this life on October 1, 2024, at his home in Ashland, MS.
Michael attended Ashland High School and made several friends during his 41-year career at Oil-Dri in Ripley, MS. He was a lifelong member of Macedonia C.M.E Church and his favorite quote was “God will prevail”.
Michael leaves to honor his name and memory his wife of 42 years, Annie Jean Bostick, 3 daughters, Charmaine Hudson of Brandon, MS, Felissa (Corey) Brown of Holly Springs, MS, and Toya (Ricky) Williams of Grand Junction, TN, a grandson whom he raised as his son, Jarvis Jamichael Jeffries of Ashland, MS; He also leaves 5 grandchildren, Jarvis Jamichael Jeffries of Ashland, MS, Rickia and Rickeira Williams of Grand Junction, TN, Ian Hudson of Brandon, MS, and London Brown of Holly Springs, MS. He leaves 4 siblings, Bobby (Jannice) Bostick, Gwendolyn Harris, Ruthie Mae (Solon) Hoyle, and Hattie Mae Bostick, all of Ashland, MS. He leaves a host of nieces & nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Macedonia C.M.E. Church, 1095 Lamar Road, Ashland, MS 38603.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Macedonia C.M.E. Church, 1095 Lamar Road, Ashland, MS 38603.
Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
