Mr. Melvin Luellen, 60, transitioned on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Methodist Healthcare in Olive Branch, MS. 

MELVIN accepted Christ at an early age and joined Kimbrough Chapel Church in Lamar, MS.

              MELVIN departed this life on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch, MS.

              MELVIN leaves to cherish his precious memories a daughter, Maxine Boone of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Doris Jones (Robert) of Lamar,  MS  and  Ernestine  Luellen of Holly Springs, MS; four brothers, Joe Luellen (Arlean), Lonnie Luellen (Audrey) of Holly Springs, MS, Johnnie Luellen (Regina), Richard Luellen (Lora) of Memphis, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends; three special brothers, Bruce Chambers, Cliff Cowan, and Kent Beard who was ALWAYS there, no matter what.

MELVIN was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Frenchie Luellen;  three  sisters, Verlene  Sims  (Edward),  Rose  Prescott, and Maxine Gipson (James); three brothers, Ronnie Luellen, Emmitt Luellen (Dorothy) and Frank Luellen (Nella).

Visitation will be on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 4-6p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs. Burial will take place at Kimbrough Chapel Church Cemetery in Holly Springs. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
