Mary "Bug" White Ingram, 56, of New Albany, MS, transitioned on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at North MS Medical Center, in Tupelo, MS

Mary La'June White Ingram, "Bug," was born April 20, 1968 to the late Roosevelt Farr of Pontotoc, MS and the late Alice Joyce White of New Albany, MS. She departed this life on November 6, 2024, at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

Mary accepted Christ at an early age at Hall's Chapel CME Church in New Albany, MS. She loved her family and her friends and if she loved you, she showed you pure love. Her only son, Trenton and her grandchildren were her whole world, It was war behind them.

Mary worked various jobs after graduating high school in 1987. For the last 21 years, she was employed with the city of New Albany. Mary was the Crossing Guard for the New Albany Middle School for many years. She worked as a Dispatcher for the New Albany Police Department. At the time of her passing, Mary was employed as the City Courier for the city of New Albany.

Mary "Bug" leaves to cherish her memories her son; Trenton Davaughn Jones of New Albany, MS, her grandchildren; Noah Kingston Davaughn and Ripley Kay Nicole Jones of Tupelo, MS, five brothers; Rev. Michael D. White, David A. White, Kevin Dale (Ada) White, Terry Lynn (Casandra) White all of New Albany, MS and Kenneth (Teresa) Farr of Pontotoc, MS, sisters: Helen Black of Indianapolis, IN, Farrie Armstrong and Marilyn Foote of Pontotoc, MS, Lillie Francis (David) Hilliard of Ecru, MS, Hattie Farr of Pontotoc, MS, Lisa Farr of Nettleton, MS, special sisters; Carolyn (Kelly) Washington and Pamela Ball of New Albany, MS, her god-son; Allen K (Becky) Ball and friend; Gregory "CoCo" Traylor of New Albany, MS, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; Tony White, Sonny Farr, Billy Farr, Ronnie Farr, Paul Wayne Farr, and James Farr, two sisters; Carolyn Sanders and Margaret Farr, three brothers-in-law; Anthony Black, Al Sanders, and Charles Foote.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 722 Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS  38652

Services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 12:00 Noon, at Watson Grove M. B. Church, 521 E. Bankhead  St., New Albany, MS  38652

Burial will take place at New Albany City Cemetery, New Albany, MS
