Ms. Margie Ann West Hunt, 74, of New Albany, MS, transitioned on Monday, October 21, 2024, at North MS Medical Center, Tupelo, MS

She was born March 3, 1950, to James A. West and Helen Jewel Thornley in Tupelo, MS. Margie was employed as a CAN/RN at Oxford Home Health Care. She loved traveling, cooking, sewing, and attending church services. She was a spirit-filled Woman of God who was a member of Victory Life Center Apostolic Church.

She is survived by a son James H. Ellis, stepdaughter; Ann Hunt, brothers; Harold West and Eddie West, sister; Marcy West and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and stepson; James Gerald Hunt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at  Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 722 Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS  38652

Services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 722 Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS  38652

Burial will take place at Tupelo Memorial Gardens, Tupelo, MS
