Mr. Mack Knox Jr., of New Albany, MS, transitioned on Sunday, September 29, 2024
Mack Knox, Jr, 83, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 29, 2024 at his home. He was born on June 7, 1941, in Tippah County to the late Mack Knox, Sr and Annie Mae Edwards Knox. He was a retired trucker driver of MST/Merchants Truck Line. He was a member of Union Prospect Baptist Church.
Mack enjoyed traveling, fishing, trail riding, and visiting the Amish community but most of all his family and family gatherings. The union of his 57 year marriage to Annie Reath "Marie' Knox six loving children were born.
To cherish his memories he leaves his children, three sons; Anthony Knox (Koni) and Chris Knox (Leigh) both of New Albany, MS, Stevie Knox of Tupelo, MS, three daughters; Tunya Perry (Linus), Cynthia Knox, a special friend Crystal all of New Albany, MS and Pamela Knox of Tupelo, MS, ten grandchildren; Stan, Jas-
mine, Terrence (Lauren), Tierra, Matthew, Cayden, Caylee, Kobe, DC, Dejay, one great-grandchild; Taegan Lynn, two god-children; Brieana and Autumn, one brother; David Knox of New Albany, MS, two sisters; Annie B. Floyd and Cara Floyd (William) of New Albany, MS, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Annie Reath “Marie” Knox, whom he loved very much.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., Service to follow at 11:00 a.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 722 Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS 38652
Burial will take place at Glenfield Memorial Park, in New Albany, MS
