Lucy M. Craine

Ms. Lucy Mae Craine, 88, of Holly Springs, MS, transitioned on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Lucy Mae Craine was born on April 9, 1937, to the late Odell Craine and Eldora Gill Craine, in Marshall County, MS.  On Saturday, December 13, 2025, she transitioned at Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Holly Springs, MS.

Lucy accepted Christ at an early age and joined Free Brach M.B. Church in Holly Springs, MS.  She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and gardening.

Lucy was a homemaker and attended Holly Springs High School.

Lucy leaves to cherish her loving memories: two daughters: Shirley Jeffries (Luther) of Waterford, MS, and Shelia Jones (Felom) of Lamar, MS; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three nephews: Ivory Craine (Diane), Paul Moton (Yolla), and Chris Craine (Kheneche); and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Lucy was preceded in death by his parents: Odell Craine and Eldora Gill Craine; one brother:  Oddie Lee Craine.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635.

Body will lie in state one hour before service time.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635.

Burial will take place at Free Branch M.B. Church Cemetery, 791 Lunati Road, Holly Springs, MS  38635.
