Loraleane (High) Golden

Mrs. Loraleane High Golden, 85, transitioned on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at New Albany Health & Rehab in New Albany. She was born January 7, 1935 to McKinley High and Alberta Duncan.

She attended UCTS (B.F. Ford) and was a high school athlete playing on the girls basketball team. She was a member of Shiloh/Halls Chapel Church.

Loraleane was employed at Mohasco Furniture for many years and also was employed in the food service industry for a local restaurant. She  enjoyed her life with family and friends.

Loraleane High Golden is survived by her sons; Garry (Tracy) Golden, Terry High and Trampis (Ruby) Golden, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, a special friend; Willie Ed Cole and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her two daughters; Gwen Armstrong and Lanell Potts, her parents and five siblings.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 10a.m., until 1p.m. at Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home Chapel in New Albany. Burial will take place at Shiloh Cemetery in New Albany. Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.
