Lois Culver 83,  transitioned on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at her residence, Waterford, MS

Lois Culver, was born April 28, 1941, in Waterford, MS, to the late Audie Johnny Young, Annie Helen Funderburk Smith, and Annie Sanders Young,

Lois accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and united with the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Laws Hill.

Lois was a seamstress, she loved canning various fruits and vegetables, and gardening; she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

On June 2, 2024, Lois left this earthly home and gained her wings and went to be with the Lord.

She will forever be cherished by her children: Audie Wayne Culver, of Waterford, MS; daughter Alice Joyner, of Waterford, MS; sister: Janice Flinchum (Jim) of Waterford, MS; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willie Culver Jr. (Sonny Boy); one son, Eugene Culver; three brothers, James Donald Young, Jerry Ronald Young, and Jody Wayne Young; sisters: Frances Gilmore and Sue Bing.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635

Burial  will take place at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Laws Hill, MS
