Larry Coleman Obituary

Mr. Larry Coleman, 69, transitioned on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at his residence in Lake Center, MS.

Mr. Larry Coleman was born to the late Eugene Pank and Saddie Coleman on July 6,1952.
God in his infinite wisdom was aware that the road was getting rough and the hills hard to climb. He whispered,¨Peace be Thine!¨ and closed his loving eyes.
Larry went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2022. Larry accepted Christ at an early age. He joined Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. He attended O.E. Jordan High School. Larry worked with T.L. Wallace Construction until he retired.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Larry was united in holy matrimony to Ms. Betty Coleman, who preceded him in death. Larry has two children Lakesha Coleman  and Ricco Coleman  with Mrs. Irene Coleman,  who also preceded him in death.
Larry leaves to cherish his memories, a loving daughter Lakesha Coleman and step-daughter Brashley (Jermaine) McLeod both of MS, two grandchildren; Desray “Joy” Longstreet and Dario Longstreet, two step grandchildren; Shaquille Barnett and DeShyris Reed all of MS, two step great-grandchildren; Kashton Barnett and Paisley Barnett both of MS, two brothers; Elder Herman (Diane) Coleman of MS, and Eugene (Annie) Coleman of WS, four beautiful sisters; Bernice Coleman of IL, Bonnie Minor and Doretha Jackson both of AK and Juanita (Lenard) Stokes of MS,  sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Larry was preceded in death by his son, Ricco Coleman, Irene Coleman, a special friend,  his wife; Betty Coleman, one sister; Onita Cooper, two brothers; Johnny McCormick and Frank Coleman,  and his parents; Eugene Pank and Saddie Coleman.
Enter  into his gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful
unto Him, and bless His name.
 Psalm 100:4

"So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or "What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:31-34 (NIV).
