L.E. Stockard

Mr. L E Stockard, 83, transitioned on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. 
L. E. Stockard was born November 25, 1936 to L. C. and Elmira McGuirt Stockard. He professed a love for Christ at an early age and joined Greater Springhill Toccopola Holiness Church.

He was united in holy matrimony to Flora Bell Pegues on November 25, 1960 and to this union five children were born.

On September 27, 2020, The Lord called, and he answered the call at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

Today, he leaves to cherish his memory, his three sons; Paul (LuAnna) Stockard of Thaxton, MS, Gerald (Martine) Stockard, and Curtis (Tracy) Stockard of Pontotoc, MS, two daughters; Betty Stockard and Lisa  Buford  of Thaxton, MS, one brother; Jessie Stockard of Thaxton, MS, one special sister-in-law; Loumamie McCann of Oxford, MS, 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother; Elmira McGuirt Stockard, his father; L.C. Stockard, and stepmother; Beulah Flemons Stockard and two brothers; Isaiah McGuirt and Lois Stockard.

Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1p.m. at Greater Springhill Church of the Living God in Toccopola. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 4-6p.m. at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc.
