Kyle "SteMichael" Bails, 59, transitioned on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Kyle Stemicheal Bails, "Chilli", was born on December 14, 1966 to Charlie Bails and Sarah (Pratt) Bails in New Albany, MS. Kyle Bails gained his wings on February 3, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany, MS. He fought a long battle of sickness for many years. Kyle confessed Christ at an early age at Union Grove MB Church. He also graduated from WP Daniel High School and attended Northeast Community College for two years. He received his EMT and Paramedic license at Itawamba Community College. His career started as an EMT/Paramedic in New Albany, Oxford, Holly Springs, MS and Memphis, TN.

Kyle loved his family, adored his grandmother, BeBe, and adored his niece, Madison. He leaves his cherished memories with his mother; Sarah (Pratt) Bails of New Albany, MS, one sister; Sherette Bails of Pontotoc, MS, also two loving nieces; Madison of New Albany, MS and Melody Jo of Pontotoc, MS. He leaves an aunt Sarah Ruth (Pratt) Graham and an uncle Larry Pratt. A host of cousins and many, many friends in the community including a very special friend to the family Jennie Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father; Charlie Bails, grandfather; John Pratt, grandmother; Annie B Mosley Pratt, uncles; Hugh W. Pratt, and John C. Pratt, great-uncle; Sam Mosley, aunt; Margaret Mosley, cousin; Climmie Graham and cousin; Alyia Graham.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 722 Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS  38652.

Interment of Cremains will take place at Union Grove M.B. Church Cemetery, 634 County Road 75, New Albany, MS  38652.
