Katherine "Cadillac" Pulliam

Katherine "Cadillac" Pulliam, 64, of Shannon, MS, transitioned on Friday, November 7, 2025, at North MS Medical Center, Tupelo, MS.

Katherine Miller-Pulliam, was born May 2, 1961 in Shannon, MS. She  was called home to be with the Lord November 7, 2025. Katherine was affectionately known as "Cadillac," She was born to Henry Miller and Mary Price Miller. Katherine was a graduate of Shannon High School and a member of Poplar Springs CME Church.  She was employed at North MS Medical Center for 20+ years until her retirement. She loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She loved being the light in any room she stepped in. Her love for people, family and friends was unmatched.  If she had it, then her loved ones did as well. She enjoyed attending Gospel singings, Her favorite was Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's. Katherine's faith and trust in God is something we will all cherish and try to follow. 

She was preceded in death by her parents,  husband; Larry Pulliam and daughter; Latoya Pulliam, brothers; Early, Henry Louis and Otha Miller. sisters; Emma Donegan, Mary W. Meardith,  Ruby Hopson and Florence Miller.

To cherish her precious memories, Katherine leaves  a daughter; Cunisha Pulliam (Bennett) of Shannon, MS, four brothers; Earnest Miller of Plantersville, MS, Paul Isby and Patrick Isby both of Tupelo, MS, Sherrod Miller of Meridian, MS, three sisters; Doris Miller of Okolona, MS, Marilyn Doyle (Moses) of St. Louis, MO, Stella Fields of Shannon, MS, two grandchildren; Makhiya Moore of Shannon, MS, and Bennette "Shamar" Moore, III also of Shannon, MS, one great-grandchild; Malakhi Moore of Shannon, MS special niece; Tara Rodgers (Byron) of Saltillo, MS and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Poplar Springs C.M.E. Church, 31868 County Line Road, Shannon, MS  38868.

Body will lie in state one hour before service time.

Burial will take place at Thompson Chapel Church Cemetery (East County Line) Houlka, MS 38850.
