Ms. Joyce Jeanette Lee, 59, transitioned on Monday, December 9, 2024, at her residence in New Albany, MS

Ms. Joyce Jeanette Lee was born December 11, 1964 in Laurel MS to the late Joseph Lee, Sr and Iris "Nell" Jones-Lee. At an early age Joyce joined Mercy Seat Baptist Church in New Orleans LA. After moving to MS, Joyce joined Zion Chapel MB Church New Albany MS.

Joyce Jeanette Lee departed this life on Monday December 9, 2024 at her residence in New Albany, MS. Precious memories will remain in the hearts of her children: two daughters India Lee  and Iris Rose Lee  of New Albany, MS,  two sons: Jordan Lee of New Albany, MS,  Jarvis (DyKeshia) Lee of Reinzi, MS. Five grandchildren: Lorendre, Kingstyn, Kaia, Amauri, and Jackson. One sister Sharon Polk of New Albany, MS, four brothers Joseph  (Michelle) Lee Jr of Blue Mountain. MS, Jamel Lee of Horn Lake MS, Jamaal Lee of New Orleans, LA, and Javon Lee of Atlanta, GA. A special god-daughter/great-niece Brandis Lee of Baton Rouge LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister: Belinda Jones  and one brother-in- law Robert Polk. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 722 Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS  38652

Services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at Zion Chapel M.B. Church, 1138 Highway 30 W., New Albany, MS  38652

Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, 816 Forest Heights St., New Albany, MS 38652
