Joseph Thomas “Boochie” Foster

Mr. Joseph Thomas Foster, known as "Boochie," was born May 2, 1952 in Hickory Flat, MS. to Richard Foster and Jo Ann Wilson Foster. Joseph was the sixth child of eight children. He departed this life August 27, 2021 at his residence in Killeen, TX.
He  was employed at a Tool Shop. Joseph joined the United States Army, serving for seven years. After his discharge he worked as a Mechanic.
He confessed Christ at an early age at Pleasant Hill M.B. Church in Hickory Flat, MS under the leadership of Rev. Andrew Horton.
Joseph was preceded in death by his mother: Jo Ann Foster and father; Richard B. Foster one brother; Henry F. foster, two sisters; Shirley A. Foster Cole and Marjorie Foster.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one son; Joseph Foster, four grandchildren, three brothers; Bennie R Foster (Tracy), James A. Foster, William D. Foster (Daisy) and one sister; Ozella Foster, two aunts; Mary Grace Williams of OH and Besty Crosby of Memphis, TN, a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Foster Family Cemetery in Hickory Flat, MS. Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 10a.m., until time of service at the funeral home.
